Taking a step back into the world of New York City, we have another
expensive hotel known as 'The Mark'. It is located along 25 East 77th Street
in Manhatten. The building wasn't always a hotel and it was constructed back
in 1927. In early 2006 the building was bought by French designer Jacques
Grange who redesigned the building into the hotel it is known as today. The
Mark's penthouse ranks up there with one of the most expensive penthouses
in the United States. The 5-bedroom Terrace Suite will run you just under 80,000
dollars a night to stay in.
